She was born to the late James and Theresa Fagan, December 7, 1922, in Brooklyn, NY. Winnie married the late Paul B. Malesky and they lived together in Brooklyn until his death in 1991. She raised five sons, the late Ronald Malesky of Santa Barbara; James Malesky of Santa Barbara; Kenneth Malesky of New Jersey; the late Glenn "Skip" Malesky of Santa Barbara; and Paul Malesky of Brooklyn. Nanny, as she is known to all, was a force of nature. The world has lost an angel in every sense of the word. Her wonderful spirit touched everyone she came in contact with. She elicited emotion on every level as she made you laugh, cry and think! This extremely passionate and compassionate woman was in touch with humanity and the the uncanny ability tiring light and love to the darkest situations. Her smile, her laugh and her hugs will be sorely missed.
