Wilfred Vasquez "Willie", a NYC Firefighter, born on March 12, 1949 of Brooklyn, New York has sadly left us on February 27, 2024.  Willie is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Florence, his daughters Vickie & Melissa, his son-in-law's TJ & Andrew and his grandson, Jeremiah.  Willie was preceded in death by his beloved mother Aida, father Alfred and sister Rose. He also leaves behind his dear sister Alice and brother Eric, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A hard worker, generous spirit and loyal friend, he always knew when help was needed and how to provide it.  A true outdoorsman, he loved nature, camping, fishing, hunting and a good time.  His contagious smile and silly humor will live on in our memories for years to come.  Together, we will mourn his loss but make him proud by honoring the memories he helped create.
