STEYERT, Walter on May 16, 2019. Walter is survived by his loving wife Margaret Mary Naughton of 68 years. His children Christine Platt (John), Walter A. Steyert, Jr. (Mary), Peggyann Gallagher (Michael) and Adam C. Steyert (Marjorie). Predeceased by his son Brian Steyert and his daughter-in-law Miriam . Survived by his grandchildren Chrissy, Sean and Heather Ann (Ken) and great grandchildren Ryan ,Victoria , Grace and Harlow. Walter served as a UDT specialist in the U.S. Navy during WW II. He was a proud member of the FDNY for 23 years. Walter Steyert was a perfect example of the greatest generation
