Vincent M. Sullivan, 89, passed away peacefully on January 15th surrounded by family.  Vincent was the loving husband of Josephine for 64 years and wonderful father of three daughters, Maureen (Martin), Kathleen (Edward) and Jean Marie (Thomas).  He was also the proud "E-Pa" of nine including Katherine (Patrick), Margaret, Kevin, Philip, Edward, Caroline, Vincent, Andrew and Shannon, and great grandfather of William.

Born in Manhattan, Bay Ridge became his home for almost sixty years.  Vincent loved walking the streets of both Manhattan and Brooklyn and knew every shortcut and path through Central Park.  Going to the MET to see the King Tut exhibit, annual trips to see the tree at Rockefeller Center,  the Good Friday service at St. Patrick's Cathedral and the NYC Marathon were just a few of the countless visits they enjoyed on an almost daily basis...except during the last 44 summers when they enjoyed their home in Breezy Point surrounded by the rest of the family.

After serving our country in the Army during the Korean War, he attended St. John's University and eventually worked for the Port Authority Railroad as a conductor.  While all of these things were important to him, it was his family and faith that he held dearest in his heart.  Vincent and Josephine attended Sunday Mass at Our Lady of Angels every week since 1965, and then  daily 6:45 Mass in the side chapel after both retired in 1996.  He was a fun husband, dad, grandfather and uncle, and will be sorely missed by all.
