She is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, R. Lucky Sweeney, her loving daughter and son-in-law, Tara and John Sroka. Born January 10, 1949 in Manhattan and grew up in Stuyvesant Town before moving to Brooklyn. Ronnie started her career at New York Life Insurance during high school where she later worked full time upon graduation. In the most recent years she worked at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Ronnie was a kind and caring soul who had a big heart and touched so many with her sweet nature and big smile. She loved giraffes, was an avid Scrabble player, loved to conquer a good crossword puzzle and had a passion for the NY Yankees and the NY Jets. She was the best wife and mom anyone could have asked for and her memory will live forever in our hearts and will never be forgotten. We will miss you and love you always.
