Tina Sieni (nee Venditto) passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on November 21, 2020 at the age of 96. She was born in Naples, Italy on March 1, 1924 to Maria and Vincent Venditto.  In 1945 she met the love of her life, Domenick, an American soldier, during World War II and immigrated to Brooklyn, New York.  They then married in 1946 and over the next decade Tina's parents and siblings followed to New York to pursue the American dream.

She was a working mother who exceled as a seamstress in a local garment factory.  However, her passion lied in her kitchen.  Her sauce, pasta, rice balls, meatballs were her specialty, but anything she made was the best you have ever had.   Tina was generous, selfless and was happiest with a full house, especially at her dining room table for Sunday dinners – a decades long tradition that family and friends from near and far have enjoyed.

Tina, the matriarch of the family, was cherished and loved by generations of family and friends.

She leaves behind her loving children Patricia Marino (the late Ralph), John Sieni (Adrienne), her brothers Renato Venditto and Carlo Venditto, grandchildren Jeffrey Marino (Gina), Kenneth Marino (Barbara), Steven Sieni (Susan) and Erica Sieni Tymon (Kevin) as well as great grandchildren Arianna Marino, Michael Marino, Ava Marino and Scarlett Sieni.  In addition, she is survived and loved by countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Tina was pre-deceased by her husband, Domenick Sieni and siblings Mario Venditto and Nina Tudisco.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 25 at 9:45am at St. Anselm Roman Catholic Church (356 82 ^nd Street, Brooklyn).  Interment will follow in the family plot at The Cemetery of The Holy Rood in Westbury, New York.
