Thomas P. McGloin, 87, of Windsor Terrace Brooklyn passed away Saturday, June 4th 2022.

He was born on June 27th 1934 in St. Albans Queens, to Nora and James McGloin.  Tom attended St. Pascal Baylon, Cathedral Prep, Cathedral College and received his Doctorate in Religious Studies from NYU in 1975.  He served as a Priest in the dioceses of Brooklyn and Queens from 1960-1979.  After receiving a dispensation he married Patricia Taylor.

Patty and Tom made their home in Windsor Terrace and raised two girls, Katie and Nora.

Tom worked at the Guild for Exceptional Children as director of residential services for nearly 30 years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia, his daughter, Nora, and his grand children, Owen, Luke, James, Joseph and Rosemary. He is proceeded by Katie McGloin who passed in 2012.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Guild for Exceptional Children , where Tom spent so much of his life or The Blood Bank of NY , where Tom received many blood transfusions.
