IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas M.
Kilroy
February 22, 2026
With deep sorrow and abiding love, we announce the passing of Thomas M. Kilroy, affectionately known as "Killer", who passed away on February 22, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones in Brooklyn.
Thomas was born on October 11, 1957, in Brooklyn to Catherine "Kitty" Kilroy and Thomas Kilroy Sr. A lifelong Brooklynite, Thomas built his life in the community he loved so dearly. He shared nearly 40 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Nancy Kilroy, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support.
Thomas dedicated over 20 years of honorable service to the New York City Police Department, where he built a respected and successful career. His commitment to duty reflected his deep sense of integrity, courage, and service to others.
He is lovingly survived by his wife Nancy Kilroy; his cherished daughters, Meghan Kilroy and Kaitlyn Kilroy; and his future son-in-law, Alexander. He also leaves behind many cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
Thomas found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved playing golf with his friends whenever he could, taking weekend trips to Gettysburg, and listening to the timeless music of Grateful Dead. These moments brought him peace and happiness, especially when shared with those he loved.
Above all, Thomas will be remembered for his warm and kind spirit. He was known for his ever-present smile, his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, and his contagious laugh that could light up any room. His strength, generosity, and deep love for his family defined his life.
He will be profoundly missed, but his legacy of love, loyalty, and kindness will live on in all who were fortunate enough to know him.
