Thomas Jennings, a lifelong New Yorker, passed away on December 24, 2025, at the age of 70. He was born on January 31, 1955.

Tom loved family gatherings and cherished the time he spent with his nieces and nephews, whom he adored. A devoted sports fan, Tom supported the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Rangers. He had a lifelong love of history and old classic movies. He enjoyed sharing stories, facts, and recommendations with those around him.

Later in life, Tom left Bay Ridge and moved to the Upper East Side. From there, he often reminded his siblings—always with good humor—that he was no longer responsible for shoveling snow. In the summer, he enjoyed traveling and spent many happy vacations with his family on Cape Cod.

He is survived by his six siblings, seven nieces and nephews, and his beloved cats—Baxter and April—who were his constant companions. Tom will be remembered for his warmth and humor. He will be sorely missed.

The wake and funeral services are open to all who wish to attend. The burial and repast dinner will be private and attendance is respectfully limited to immediate and extended family only.  For those wishing to make a memorial gift, please donate to a charity of your choice.
