Thomas Guarino passed away on October 18th, 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones.

He was born in Little Italy, New York where he spent his younger years.  At 7 years old the family relocated to Brooklyn where Thomas would spend the remainder of his life. He was so proud of his Italian heritage and being a New Yorker. He was an avid fan of boxing, horse racing, and the New York Yankees. He loved music, dancing, parties and socializing every chance he had.

Spending time with family was always very important. Thomas worked as a conductor on the Long Island Railroad for nearly 3 decades, a job he really loved. Thomas had an incredible zest for life. If you knew him, you were rewarded with his stories, laughter and love.  He was kind, warm, thoughtful and fun. He lived life to the fullest.

He is survived by his two children, Jacqueline and Thomas his daughter in Law Kristine, three grandchildren, Isabella, Dylan, and Julia, his sister Marie Angela and brother-in-law Tim O'Neill as well as many cousins and friends so dear to his heart. He will be sorely missed but his memory will be cherished forever.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name are appreciated to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
