Theodore Fernandez passed away peacefully on January 10, 2024 at the age of 83.  Loving husband of 25 years to Niurka Fernandez.  Dear father of Ted Fernandez, Jr. and Janine Fernandez. Cherished brother of José Luis, Mercedes, and the late Francisca (Maruja), Maximo, Rosario, Agustin (Tinín) and Nicolas.

Theodore's career was captivating, working on the Queen Mary where he traveled around the world THREE times, putting his knowledge of SEVEN languages to good use. He then continued at The Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center and finished his career as Banquet Supervisor for over 20 years at The Pierre New York Hotel in Manhattan. There he met many unique figures, political officials, celebrities, and cherished friends. He was hardworking and respectful. Theodore was an avid soccer fan and especially enjoyed watching Real Madrid and Barcelona while sharing beers with his close friends. Theodore will be remembered for his contagious smile, playful personality, and fearlessness. He will be sorely missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
