Steven is the adored brother of Madeline, Gary, Roger, & Thomas (Tommy, deceased); beloved son of Wanda and Bernard (deceased); Uncle to Lauren, Lisa, Steven, & Eric. At  62 years old he retired from the MTA/NYC Transit. Steven graduated with a degree in engineering, City University of New York, worked at Boeing Aircraft, and Sikorsky. After service in the Navy he settled in Bay Ridge. He is remembered as an extremely hard worker, kind and gentle person with an open heart, an avid reader with a wealth of knowledge & a brilliant mind, a deep thinker, introspective, interested, and interesting. He possessed a rare genuine quality not often found, a great sense of humor, & an enormous wealth of empathy especially for the elderly, veterans, & animals. With many trials in his lifetime, he was not one to burden others with his troubles. He could be a great support & has been exactly that for quite some time. There was an undeniable uniqueness to him, but Steven was also very real. He could make us laugh. And we will miss that. We will miss everything about our brother Steven, he is loved.
