Robert James Griffiths, "Bobby G",
71 years old of Brooklyn, NY passed away peacefully on March 2nd. From the moment Bob entered this world he brought joy and kindness to all that had the pleasure being in his company. As a child, he was a proud Boy Scout with his adorable grin and piercing blue eyes. As a young man, Bobby was a sea cadet, and served in the US Navy on the USS Tattinal. Throughout his life he always enjoyed sharing stories of his travels and aimed to provide a good laugh. After the service, Bobby was a hard working successful Wall Street broker and former New York Stock Exchange seat owner. His love of life and charismatic nature soon caught the attention of a young Vickie Davis. The two immediately fell in love, married and raised three wonderful children in Long Island. As a dedicated father he was a scout master, basketball coach, soccer coach and football announcer for the Massapequa Mustangs. Bob loved supporting his children and was always the loudest voice in the stands with a nice warm Diet Coke in his hand. Bobby was an avid baseball and hockey fan, always rooting for his NY teams. He loved being a New Yorker which was further demonstrated by his commitment to the TV show NYPD Blue. Bobby was truly one-of-a-kind. All those that he loved were truly lucky to be in his presence and receive his wisdom and love.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Vickie Davis Griffiths, and his 3 loving children
Justin Griffiths (Jennifer),
Sarah Briggs (Rob),
Adam Griffiths (Debbie), and his six adoring grandchildren
Colin, Gavin, Aidan, Jack, Garret & Kathryn.

Bobby fought a hard battle and beat all odds year after year. He passed peacefully in his sleep exactly the way he would have wanted.
As Bobby G would say "God Bless us everyone." The world is truly a better place having had him in it.
