Richard Henry Greaker, 88, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of November 20th, 2024. He was born in Brooklyn in 1936 to Norwegian Parents Gladys Stenersen and Henry Richard Greaker. He attended James Madison High School and graduated from Tri-State University. He served in the United States Army from 1957-1959. After his military service, he worked for the Army Corps of Engineers. He married Allison Davis in 1964 at The Church of the Generals, St. John's Episcopal Church on Fort Hamilton Parkway. They settled in Bay Ridge and had two children, Allison Hope and Richard Nixon. Richard was a member of the Salvation Army church and attended Christ Church Bay Ridge. Richard was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His beloved wife passed away in 2016. He is survived by his brother Robert, his daughter Allison, son Richard, and three grandchildren, Anderson, Jacob, and Richard Thomas. May the Lord God, our Father, Bless him and Keep him safe in his Journey.
