It is with the deepest sorrow that we share the passing of our beloved mother, Paula Faustin, née Depestre, on December 12, 2025.  Her life was a radiant tapestry of love, faith, and generosity.  She brought warmth to every heart she touched, and her gentle, serene spirit uplifted all who knew her.

She is survived by her son: Eric Faustin and his wife, by her daughters: Jocelyne Lamour, née Faustin, Margareth Elsie Barthold, née Faustin and her husband, Marie Paulette Victor, née Faustin, her grandchildren and their spouses, her great-grandchildren, her sister and brothers, as well as her nieces, nephews, cousins, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.

With her departure, the Poto Mitan of our family has been broken, leaving a void that can never be filled.  Yet her light, her love, and the memories she gifted us, will forever guide and comfort us.

The family will receive condolences on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Clavin Funeral Home, 7722 4th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11209, with complimentary valet parking available.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, 7320 4th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11209, on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 10:15 AM.
