IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul R.
Kasbar
July 16, 1972 – March 1, 2025
A lifelong Bay Ridge resident, Paul Kasbar was born on July 16, 1972. Paul attended Saint Patrick's school, Fort Hamilton, High School and City College in Brooklyn Heights.
Paul passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family, and held by his mother, on March 1, 2025.
Paul was very involved in the neighborhood. He served as an altar boy at Saint Patrick's for many years and eventually worked in the rectory.
Despite his physical challenges, Paul continued to work and held various jobs including working at Methodist hospital and lastly for the New York City Department of Finance.
His tenacity to work in the face of Multiple Sclerosis has been an inspiration to all who knew him.
Paul, like his sister Nicole, was a die-hard Ranger fan and attended games with her and the Kane's which were some of the most enjoyable times for him.
If you knew Paul, you would know that his positivity was unparalleled. He always had a smile on his face and was grateful for all the care he received. He teased us and even made us laugh...even in his last days.
Paul was also a huge Beatles fan..
