Obituary

Nancy Marie Pacifico (née Lawlor) was born on February 24, 1950, and passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 75. A lifelong resident of Bay Ridge/Dyker Heights, Nancy attended Fort Hamilton High School, and was a proud retiree of the New York Telephone Company.

Nancy was predeceased by her cherished husband, Albert Pacifico, with whom she shared many splendid years. She is survived by her treasured sons, Thomas and John; four darling grandchildren: Amber, Caitlyn, Tanya Rose, and Gabriella; her dearest siblings: Patricia, Judith, Robert, and Lorraine; and an abundance of nieces and nephews, who were dear to her heart from their very first moments.

A friend to felines near and far, Nancy was a loving parent to Moose, Beanie, Lady, Miss Kitty, and most recently, the beautiful Flower.

Nancy loved nature and the outdoors, and was a proficient gardener. She enjoyed nothing more than trips to her home in upstate New York where she could be surrounded by loved ones and fresh air. She spent many a weekend at the beach, basking in the glory of the sun and sea.

In equal parts, Nancy loved gardening and baking. Freshly planted flowers and baskets of cookies adorned her home. Above all, Nancy loved her family. She adored spending time at her home in upstate New York, or a weekend at the beach, always with her nearest and dearest family accompanying her.

Many would agree that she would most like to be remembered as the number one fan of Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdinck — the musical artists that defined her life.

In honor of her unyielding adoration of kittens and cats, a donation can be made to the Sean Casey Animal Rescue; or in the spirit of her generous nature, to a favorite charity of your own choosing.
