Moises Irizarry (Moe), 78, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away on July 11, 2023 after dealing with multiple medical issues. He spent his last days in the hospital with his family. He loved them and was loved deeply.

Moises was born on July 4, 1945 to Domingo and Fransisca Cordero-Irizarry in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Shortly after he was born, he moved to Brooklyn, New York where he grew up and ultimately spent his final days.

Moises is survived by his spouse Lydia Irizarry. In 1962, Moises met Lydia at Coney Island Beach. Moises and Lydia married and went on to have 3 children, Moises Irizarry Jr, Tanjia Luisa Irizarry and Tasha Hope Irizarry. He was a wonderful husband and an amazing provider for his family.

Moises, known by his friends as Moe, worked as an apparel processor for 45 years. Like all things, he put his all in any task set before him. He was always looking to improve his home and provide for his family and friends. He prided himself on being a great griller and cook and always made sure his children were happy, healthy, and well dressed. He enjoyed listening to smooth jazz and the oldies from the 60's.

In 2002, Moe retired and spent his time with his grandchildren, working on the house, gardening, woodworking, and watching movies. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Moe enjoyed being involved in their milestones, no matter how little. Moe was loved by many and will be missed.
