It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Daw Jr. at the young age of 38. Michael passed away on July 19, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, loyalty, and love. He left us way too soon.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Mike was a true original — funny, smart, and full of heart. He had a smile that could light up a room and a sense of humor that brought joy to everyone lucky enough to know him. A devoted fan of the New York Rangers and the Yankees, Mike never missed a chance to cheer on his teams. He loved movies and music and could quote his favorites with perfect timing and wit. He was a foodie at heart, with a passion for working out and running. Michael was a friendly, fun-loving guy and made everyone around him feel comfortable in his presence.

More than anything, Michael was a loving son, devoted brother, beloved grandson and fiercely loyal friend. He showed up when it mattered, stood by those he loved, and never hesitated to offer a kind word or a helping hand. His presence was a gift, and his absence leaves a void that will never be filled.

Michael is the loving son of Carol Daw (nee Mulvey) and the late Michael J. Daw. Dear brother of Jennifer (Ken), and Kimberly Daw. Loving grandson of Helen. Cherished nephew of Thomas and Sharon. Proud uncle, beloved cousin and dear friend to so many, especially his lifelong friends from Brooklyn who were his extended family. The world lost someone truly special. Mike will live on in our hearts forever.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Michael Daw Jr. to The Gooden Center in Pasadena California.
