Maureen E. O'Donnell passed away peacefully on April 7, 2021. Beloved daughter of the late Helen and John O'Donnell;  dear sister of the late John, Jr.;  loving cousin of Joan McLaughlin, Suzanne Gooch, Chickie Belford, and Frank Fitzgerald; and cherished friend to many.

Maureen was born in Brooklyn on January 28, 1942.  After graduating from St. Joseph's High School, she went to work for Cities Service Oil.  In seeking better opportunity, she later moved on to a position with the New York Stock Exchange, retiring from there after 35 years of a very
successful career.

Maureen was very active in her community, sharing her wisdom and guidance with others.  She enjoyed travel, loved old movies, was an avid reader of all local newspapers, and liked discussing politics.

Unfortunately, Maureen's health issues caused her to become home-bound for many years.  She fought hard to maintain her independence, and she met life's challenges with grace and courage, all-the-while keeping her sense of humor and her deep appreciation of family, friends, neighbors,
and caregivers.
