Maureen Curley was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Margaret Donohue Curley and Edward Curley. She was predeceased by her sister Margot Curley Sussillo and her brother-in-law, Joseph Sussillo, Esq.

Maureen lived a unique life that evokes smiles and sweet memories of a warm, friendly, happy person who loved her family more than anything else in the world. She embraced all the Curleys and Donohues equally and cherished them. Maureen lived in Bay Ridge, Hampton Bays, Florida and for the past 12 years she was a resident of the Norwegian Christian Home, where she had many friends. Her happy life, though diminished over the years, was enhanced by her wonderful memory, which was legendary. Between her cherished calendar and ironclad reminisces she knew everyone's birthday and when every annual event would be coming up. She would start planning accordingly. She truly loved her time spent with family and friends. As these rituals began to disappear, she would take a little time to be sad, to accept and then just move on to something else she could look forward to. I wish we all had the ability to adjust that easily. She definitely now is in a better place at her very best EVENT ever.
