Maureen Cook passed away on Wendsday, September 23, 2026 at The Hamilton Park Rehabilitation Center in Bay Ridge. Maureen grew up in Boro Park and attended St. Frances de Chantel Elementary School and was in the inaugural class of Bishop Kearney High School. She worked for NY Property Insurance Underwriting Association for over 35 years, retiring in 2015.The eldest of five children born to Andrew and Peggy Cook, Maureen is survived by her siblings, Theresa (Mike) , Andrew (Hilda), Sean (Meri) and Liam (Vicky) as well as her nieces and nephews, Christopher, Michael, Meaghan, Kevin, Griffith and Pauline. And grandnieces and nephews, Grace, Connor, Leah, Lydia and Maeve.

Maureen was devoted to her family and will be sorely missed.
