In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be sent to Clavin Funeral Home to help offset funeral costs.
Matthew James Whelan, a certified welder, lead carpenter and spirited basketball fan. Matthew was a gentle giant with a big heart for all who knew him. He is survived by his loving mother Susan, brother Thomas many aunts, uncles and dear friends.
