Obituary

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Matilde Camporeale (Tilde, Mati), age 72, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, family member and friend passed away on Thursday April 23rd,  2020, while in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her beloved family.

Matilde was born  on September 19, 1947 in Monte di Procida , Italy. Matilde moved to United States with her beloved husband Angelo (deceased) where she raised their three children: Camille, Vincent, and Maria.

Matilde was born with a love for life and helping others. She loved spending time with her family, and her Italian cooking was legendary. She would always laugh and talk to everyone, and she was loved by many .

For 20 years she worked as a NYC Crossing Guard.

Matilde will be missed every day by her children Camille, Vincent, and Maria, her sisters Rosa, Anna, and brother Michael and wife Evana, her grandchildren Sienna, Matteo, Sophia and Olivia, by her daughter in law Ioana, loving family, and many many great friends, and her furrever loyal dog Momo .

Burial: Green-Wood Cemetery (Brooklyn, NY)
