GALLAGHER, Mary (nee McNulty) - On February 23, 2018. One of fourteen children born to John & Ellen McNulty on a farm named Carraduff, Glenade, County Leitrim Ireland. Mary was the next to last born on March 24, 1929. Her brothers and sisters Annie Bee, Thomas, Owen, Mary Kate, John, Hugh, Patrick, James, Margaret, another John after the death of the first John, Martin, Another James after the death of the first James, Mary & Kate. She followed her two brothers Owen & Martin and immigrated to America in 1950. She met my father James Gallagher ( who also immigrated from Donegal Ireland) at an Irish ( County Donegal ) dance in New York City. They married and raised four children Francis Joseph, James Stephen, Rita Ann and Eugene Patrick in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Mom passed away in the early morning hours of Friday February 23, in a nursing home in Brooklyn. She was the last to pass away of the fourteen children the last generation of McNultys born and raised in the Carraduff, Glenade farmlands in lovely Leitrim.
