Marie Teresa Dealy was born on January 12, 1938 to Marie Dealy and John Dealy in Brooklyn New York. She had one sister Catherine  and four brothers, John, Michael, Bill and Peter. Marie Teresa lived in her house in Bay Ridge her whole life and was a devout attendee of St Ephrems' Catholic Church.

Marie Teresa had a very successful career as a manager at New York Telephone company which she commuted to by subway each day in downtown Brooklyn. She was an incredible employee and was known to never miss a day - even in a snowstorm.

Marie Teresa loved everything about the Jersey Shore and summered there from when she was in her twenties. She loved watching her grand nephews and nieces swim in her pool, enjoying the ocean view, and sitting in the sand under her umbrella.

Marie Teresa was devoted to her eight nieces and nephews and is survived by numerous grand nieces and nephews including Jack, Lila, Emma, Mason and Matthew. She loved spending time with all of them and was devoted to buying the best gifts, attending recitals and sports events and having fun with little ones.

Marie passed away on January 1, 2017. She will be sorely missed by her family and her extensive network of friends.
