Margaret Carr Sullivan

Sunrise: Sunday, August 12, 1945           Sunset: Friday, August 19th, 2022

Margaret Carr was born in Roscommon Ireland to John and Annie Carr. She was the youngest of six children, three boys and three girls. Margaret left Ireland at the age of 18 and resided in Manhattan, New York thereafter. She was married in the Church of St. John the Martyr, NY to Denis Francis Sullivan, who predeceased her.

Proud of her Irish heritage, she enjoyed spending time with and was deeply devoted to her two older sisters Celia Heslin O'Connell, who resided in the Bronx and passed away on September 30, 2021 and Mary Moran of Park Slope and then Bay Ridge Brooklyn, and very much enjoyed her visits with her brother Willy, who resided upstate New York, and who passed away earlier this year. Margaret was also the proud and loving aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Guided by her Catholic faith, Margaret was a kind, considerate, loving, and selfless person who was never without a smile on her face.

Her family and friends have wonderful and happy memories of Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays shared with her.

Margaret will be missed, never forgotten, and remains forever in our hearts.
