Luis A. Negron was born on July 5, 1939 in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Antonio and Georgina Negron. He first came to New York in 1954 and in 1959 New York City became his home. He met his wife Sara in Ponce, Puerto Rico in 1964 and in 1965 they were married. They settled in Brooklyn where they would raise 2 children, Luis Jr and Nilsa. He worked many jobs before landing with Local 32. Luis retired from them after almost 45 years of service. He is survived by his wife Sara, his 2 children Nilsa and Luis, and his 2 grandchildren, Jason and Luis.

Luis loved his family dearly, his wife's rice and beans, cold beers, salsa music and the NY Yankees.
