Leanore Spinosa passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 22, 2025. She was born on February 13, 1939, to Helena and Harold Pastori.

Raised in Bay Ridge, Leanore attended OLA Grammar School and St. Brendan's High School, where she earned a four-year scholarship. Over the years, she worked at the Telephone Company, Garfield Glass, Beth Israel Hospital, and was still working part-time for Iannelli Construction in Bay Ridge.

Leanore was the devoted mother of three sons: Joseph, Eugene, and Douglas. She is survived by her son Douglas and his wife Ziada, along with her beloved grandchildren Tara, Joseph, Taylor, Dylan, Andrew, and Christian, as well as several great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her three sisters—Gloria, Helen, and Kathy—and many cherished nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Gaspar, her brother Edward Pastori, and her sons Joseph and Eugene.

Leanore was also an accomplished pianist who shared her gifts and talents by performing with her sisters as part of The Pastori Quartet .

She will be remembered for her devotion to family, her love of music, and her deep ties to the Bay Ridge community.
