Funeral Mass: Friday (8/14) 11 AM @ Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Cathedral 113 Remsen St., Brooklyn, NY - - - - - - - - - MATNEY, Laurice (nee Grayeb) of Atlantic Beach, NY, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away in her home on the morning of August 12, 2015. She was the matriarch of a large family who loved her very much, and was the last remaining Grayeb from her generation of eight brothers and sisters. Loving wife of the late Arthur Matney. Beloved mother of Louise, Arthur Jr., Evelyn, and Virginia. Proud grandmother of eleven, and great-grandmother of seven. Those who knew her will always remember her strength, unending hospitality, sense of humor, and amazing skills in the kitchen.
