Lauren Therese Caffrey, 25 of Castleton Corners, passed away the morning of July 26 amongst her beloved family. A 2009 graduate of Curtis High School and member of the Lacrosse team, she would later graduate with a bachelor's in Communications and Media Studies from the College of Staten Island in 2014.

Lauren will always be remembered for her infamous smile, incredible eyes, and fun loving personality.  She was loved by all that were fortunate enough to have known her. Lauren was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed traveling and making new friends. But most of all, she loved her family and the time she spent with everyone.

Lauren is survived by her parents Mark and Eugenia Caffrey; her siblings, Jillian, Craig and Olivia; her grandmother, Lauretta Filbert; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
