MULLIN, Kathleen Ann (nee Larsen) passed away suddenly on July 3, 2020 with her loving family by her side.

Beloved wife of William Mullin. Loving mother of Lauren Mullin Basile, Kristin Mullin Romeo (Anthony), and Meghan Mullin Dizon (Renelle). Dear sister of Maureen Coopey (Thomas), Dennis Larsen (Susan), Walter Larsen (Aileen), and David Larsen (Donna). Cherished Nana to Drew Basile, Nicole Romeo, Loren Dizon, Anthony Romeo, and Renzo Dizon. Loving friend to many.

Kathleen was born on January 25, 1954 to Marion and Walter (Red) Larsen, along with her adored twin brother Dennis Larsen. She was always a sweet, kind, and energetic person with a heart of gold.

Kathleen met the love of her life, Bill in 1974. They were married at The Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help on October 22, 1977. Together they had three beautiful girls that she cherished with all of her heart. The grandchildren that would come next added even more joy to the "Mullin" house. She was affectionately called "Kitty" by her daughters and grandchildren, which started out as a joke, but she later learned to love. Sunday dinners, holidays, sleepovers, birthdays, babysitting and family vacations were some of Kathleen's favorite memories throughout the years.

Spending time with family and friends brought her great happiness. A trip to Ireland with her best friend Patricia Collins Wolff was a dream come true. She visited her family's hometown and met her distant relatives.

Kathleen worked at Fort Hamilton High School for many years before retiring to spend more time with her extended family and grandchildren. Kathleen formed many strong friendships while at Fort Hamilton. She always looked forward to going out for Tuesday night coffee with "the girls" and after work drinks with the Fort Hamilton crew, even after retirement.

It's hard to turn the page when someone you love so dearly won't be in the next chapter. You will be terribly missed, until we meet again.
