Julian Moya was born on February 17, 1934, in Hatillo, Puerto Rico. At 19 years old he sought a better life and, migrated to Brooklyn, New York. He attended night school and earned his high school diploma while learning English. His dedication paid off as he found a job at the U.S. Postal Service providing for his family, and for 34 years delivered mail to those around the city. On November 26, 1955, he married the love of his life, Aida, and they raised three children together, Mo, Robert, and Nancy throughout their 64-year marriage. His retirement was dedicated to his wife and grandchildren, Tanya, Bobby, Yvette, Franchesca, Matthew, and great-grandchild Mackenzie. The beautiful times, memories, and bonds are what bought him unconditional joy. Our hearts grieve, but Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior have taken his angel Julian home and he is now at peace. Our guardian angel is in heaven looking down on us and his memory will always live on in our hearts.
