John "Jack" Kevin McLoughlin, age 71, of Brooklyn, NY died on February 27, 2024 after a year- long brave battle with cancer.  Jack was born in Brooklyn, NY August 13, 1952 to the late Marie (Quinn) McLoughlin and Vincent McLoughlin. Except for a few years in Arizona and upstate New York, Jack was a lifetime resident of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Jack retired from New York City Sanitation Dept. in 2014.

Jack is survived by his dear sister, Jean (McLoughlin) Jamate and his longtime friend, Nancy Ruddy.  In addition, Jack was a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews.

Jack was predeceased by his older brothers, U.S. Navy Veteran Vincent Q. McLoughlin, SP/4c Miles J. McLoughlin (KIA), and James F. McLoughlin. Jack was devoted to his loving pet dog, "Nellie".

Jack enjoyed his free time listening to music and attending rock concerts every year including Carlos Santana.
