John Anthony Librizzi passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026.

John was the beloved husband of the late Maria Librizzi; devoted father of Danielle (Thomas) and Melanie (John); and cherished grandfather of Francis, Josephine, Joseph, and Allison. He was the dear brother of Joseph (Carmella) and Antoinette (James).

Affectionately known as "Johnny," John was born in Brooklyn, New York, on April 26, 1950, to the late Natalie and Joseph Librizzi. A natural problem solver, John never met a task he couldn't tackle or a rule he couldn't bend.

His famous words, "Don't worry," brought comfort to everyone around him, and he had a remarkable way of making you believe that everything would be okay, no matter the circumstance.

John's greatest joy was his family. Fiercely loyal and endlessly devoted to those he loved, he spent the last 16 years of his life selflessly caring for his grandchildren. Whether preparing meals, picking them up from school, driving them to sports practices and dance classes, or simply being there whenever they needed him, he was the steady presence at the heart of their lives.

John was the center of gravity for his family—a source of strength, laughter, wisdom, and unconditional love. His generosity, dedication, and unwavering support touched everyone who knew him. His memory will live on in the countless lives he shaped, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
