Joanne Elaine Zwilinske, 64, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 1, 2025, at her beloved home, in the presence of the love of her life.

Joanne was born in 1961, in Brooklyn, NY. She was the daughter of Elaine Aremia and the late Joseph Aremia. Joanne was raised in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn and attended Fort Hamilton High School. Joanne served proudly as an Administrative Assistant for Verizon for 44 years.

Joanne met the love of her life, Charles, at Verizon in 1989. They married in 2000. She was beautiful and witty, and special in so many ways. Joanne loved life, loved the home her and Charlie built, and loved spending time with family. Joanne was a loving, dedicated wife who cherished even the simplest of moments and time with Charlie. Joanne was a devoted grandmother to six beautiful girls, spending weekends with them on adventure trips, sleepovers and hobbies they all enjoyed. Joanne will be deeply missed by all those that were blessed to have had her in their lives.

Joanne is survived by her beloved mother, Elaine, her devoted husband, Charlie, and by his loving children, Tricia and her husband John, Kimberly, and Vicki and her husband Brian. She will be deeply missed by her cherished grandchildren Mikayla, Ariel, Emma, Arianna, Alivia, and her precious predeceased Daniela.
