Obituary

Joan Callery age 90 passed away on February 18, 2023.  Joan lived her whole life in Brooklyn.  Joan was the beloved wife of George Callery and mother of Muriel Wilkinson, Debbie Murphy and Anne Romeo.  Beloved mother-in-law of Gerard Wilkinson, Dennis Murphy and David Romeo.  Joan is survived by 5 grandchildren: Kevin Wilkinson (Teresa), Danielle Kennelly (Matt), Meaghan Garcia (James), Brendan Murphy (Molly) and Allison B o undy (Ste phen ). Joan is also survived by two great-grandchildren Clara and Sloane Wilkinson.

Joan was pre - deceased by her parents Anna and Thomas Toner and her siblings Thomas Toner (Kathryn), S ist . Anne DePaul, Dorothy Lowe, Eileen Kenney (Jack), John Toner and Helen Ditre (Angelo).  Joan was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Joan was a life long resident of Cobble Hill and a devoted member of St. Agnes Parish for over 75 years.  Joan had many good friends.  She enjoyed many happy days at the Golden Ages and dinners at Vinnie's with her friends.

Joan lived a full and happy life and will be missed by her family and friends.
