Joan Breen passed away peacefully on August 22, 2024. She was born and raised in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, where she lived her 87 years of life.

Joan was a cherished member of the Poyer Family, sister to the late Dorothy, Ellen, Carol, and Raymond. In 1957, she married the late Patrick Breen, marking the beginning of a shared life filled with love.

Joan is survived by her six children and loving sons and daughters in- laws, Patrick (Angie), Mary (Jeff Thomas), Steven, William, Joseph (Christine) and Kelly Ann (James Imbriale). Also survived by her, Brother-in-law Richard Sesny and proud Aunt to many loving nieces and nephews.

Joan's greatest joys were her thirteen grandchildren, Jeannette, Joseph, Brittany, Daniel, Kaitlyn, Shannen, Audrie, William, Raymond, Nicollette, Jillian, James and Stella. As well as her great grandchildren, Anya, Kalila and Christopher. She was affectionately known to them and answered to all Grandma, Grams, Grammie and Gala.

Joan will be remembered as a loving and devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
