IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Iris M.
Velazquez
February 8, 1949 – December 11, 2025
Iris M. Velazquez, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, matriarch, and friend, earned her wings on December 11, 2025. Iris lived a life embedded in love, faith, and generosity. Her presence brought warmth to every room, and her gentle spirit lifted the hearts of all who knew her.
As the matriarch of her family, Iris was a guiding light—offering wisdom, stability, and unconditional love.
Born with a natural gift for nurturing others, Iris dedicated her life to her family and to spreading kindness wherever she went. She was the steady foundation for those she loved—offering guidance, comfort, and unwavering support through life's joys and challenges. Her home was always open, her table always full, and her heart forever welcoming.
Iris's faith was the compass that guided her, and her generosity knew no bounds. Whether through a kind word, a home-cooked meal, or a quiet act of service, she touched lives in ways that will never be forgotten.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and all whose lives were brightened by her presence. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to shine through the memories, lessons, and love she shared so freely.
May she rest peacefully, surrounded by the light she brought into the world.
