Ioannis Mamounas, John as his friend called him and affectionately Gianni, by his family, passed away on August 5, 2024, in Brooklyn, New York at the age of 53.

John was born on the island of Chios Greece on August 10, 1970, to Michael and Efthemia, who genuinely loved and spoiled him. He is survived by his two sisters, Angie, and Koula, his two brothers-in-law, Nick, and Kosta, as well as his four nephews Michael, Thanasi, Timmy, and Michael. John will be deeply missed by his family and all who truly knew him.

We pray that John has now found true peace, and happiness. Something he was seeking his entire life. May your soul rest in peace dear brother, In our hearts your memory and your spirit will linger forever.
