Hilda Urban was born in a small town in Austria in 1935. There she grew up in a modest house along with two sisters. In her early adult life she moved to Canada to follow the love of her life, Alfred whom she later married. Canada is where they gave birth to their first child Waltraud. A few years later the three moved to Bay Ridge, Brooklyn where they would put permanent roots down and continue to grow their loving family. There, they had their second child, Freddy. Through the years they enjoyed travelling back to Austria, camping with friends, and visiting Lake George among many other family trips. Waltraud and husband Raymond have two children, Christina and Jessica. Freddy and his wife Amber have three children, Richie, Ariel, and Heidi. For Hilda and Alfred family was everything. Heavily involved in all their grandchildren's lives, they created a bond with each of them that is truly one of a kind. Sadly Alfred passed in January 2017, today Hilda is once again reunited with her love where they can be together, in eternal peace.
