Helen Wesley died peacefully on Tuesday, March 28th 2017 in Brooklyn, NY. She was 73.
Helen was born on June 27th, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY. She was the second of four children.
After graduating from St. Johns University she embarked upon a career in education that saw her acquire two master's degrees and work with countless students of all ages and abilities. She is especially remembered for her profound work with the visually limited and blind.
Helen is survived by her son Jonas of Brooklyn, NY, daughter Jenny and son in law Kevin, of Charlotte, NC and three grandchildren, Connor, Emma and Kate. She is further survived by brothers, sister, nieces and nephew. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, David.
Burial will be at St. Charles Cemetery on Saturday, April 1st 2017 . Relatives and friends are welcome at Joseph P. Clavin Funeral Home on Friday March 31st, 2017 between the hours of 2-4pm and 7-9pm .
