Helen V. Fennelly Reilly Buckley departed life after  98 years  on May 29, 2019. She is survived by her children Kevin (Mary Fallon) and Kevin's children Kevin and Alanna, Kathleen and Kathleen's daughter Megan (Everado Huesca) and Megan's children Lucas and Shea, Sean (Elizabeth McGill) and Sean's children Emma and Aidan, and Daniel. Helen was married to James Edwin Reilly, who died in 1978,  for 26 years, and later renewed her college romance with James Buckley, to whom she was married for 24 years. Helen, who always treasured her relationship with St. Joseph's College, was a High School English teacher and Guidance Counselor for more than three decades. Until her marriage to Jim Buckley when she moved to Fair Haven, New Jersey, she was a lifelong and active parishioner of St. Anselm's Church in Bay Ridge and of Irving Walk in Breezy Point, whose shore and ocean was always her lodestar.
