George P. Sinnott, entered in to eternal rest on May 11, 2020 in his Brooklyn home of 85 years, with his wife at his side.

Beloved husband to Ilean (nee Beattie). Devoted and proud father to George, his wife Jessica, and James and his wife Kristine. Adoring grandfather of George Patrick and Caroline. Loving brother to Eileen Cooke. Fond brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Retired Commander, U.S. Navy and Captain, New York State Naval Militia. Retired NYPD and Defense Logistics Agency. Graduate of Brooklyn Prep, Villanova University, and the City University of New York.

Dad was a devout Catholic and daily communicant at his beloved St. Anselm R.C. Church, the same parish in which he was born. He loved his faith and serving as a Eucharistic Minister, both at Church and to the homebound and sick.

A giant amongst men that blessed all he met with his grace, faith, kindness, wisdom and love.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date.
