On Tuesday, July 5th 2022, Gary Allen Dinnigan, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away at the age of 76 years old.

Gary was born on February 4th, 1946, in Brooklyn, New York to James Dinnigan Sr. and Eleanor Scanell Dinnigan. He grew up in Queens, NY attending Richmond Hill High School and then transferred to Food and Maritime Trades Vocational High School, in Manhattan, to pursue his passion for cooking. Gary joined the Navy in 1965 and was honorably discharged in 1969.

Moving back to Queens upon his return, he started working and met the love of his life, Agustina affectionately know as Tina, on 14th Street and 2nd Avenue. They were married and moved to Bay Ridge where they lived together for the next 50 plus years. After years of trying to start a family, the were blessed with their one and only daughter, Kara.

Gary worked at NYU Tisch Hospital for many years as the supervisor of the food service department. He spent his retirement years enjoying his grandchildren and became quite the movie buff.

Gary is beloved husband to Agustina Dinnigan, beloved father to Kara Garcia(Louis), and proud grandfather to Louis and Nicholas Garcia.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
