Florence Gabriel passed away peacefully on March 13, 2021, at the age of 90. Loving mother of Michael (Cathey), Susan (Mike), and Lorraine (Josh), beloved wife of the late Manuel, and dear sister of Bob (Catherine). Proud and devoted grandmother of Michael, Andrew, James, Thomas, Christopher, Jonathan, and Katie. Florence, a lifelong resident of Brooklyn, was gratified to work with visually impaired middle-schoolers as a paraprofessional for over 20 years, learn braille, and earn an associate degree later in life. She greatly enjoyed the time she spent at the Bay Ridge Senior Center, where she met many wonderful friends.

A memorial mass at Our Lady of Angels is being planned for July 2021.
