FANNING, Evelyn J. (nee Nevin) on March 13, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Jack. Loving mother of John J. (Nancy) and the late Jeanne Haubrich (the late Martin). Proud grandmother of John Francis, Carolyn Elizabeth, John Martin Haubrich(Angelica), Jeanne Marie Gilligan(Michael), and great grandmother of Kate, Jack, Jeanna Lynn, and Bethany Grace. Evelyn was the beloved daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Nevin, and devoted sister of the late Dorothy Maxwell.

Evelyn was the matriarch of the Fanning family, including a vast array of cousins, nieces, nephews, and their extended families. Everyone touched by her love and devotion will cherish her memory.  For over sixty years Evelyn was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Angels. After raising her children, Evelyn returned to school to complete her education, and practiced nursing for twenty years in the community.  For the final five years of her life, Evelyn was a resident of Carmel Richmond Nursing Home, where she made many close friends who will miss her smart sense of style.
