It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother.

Elizabeth Moran (née Montgomery) 92, passed away peacefully at Richmond University Medical Center after a short illness on Sunday, June 26th 2022.

Elizabeth was born January 13, 1930 to James and Catherine Montgomery in Mountcharles, Co. Donegal, Ireland.  She emigrated to America in 1949, settling in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.  Elizabeth spent her working years as a certified nursing assistant for Holy Family Nursing Home, she was an active parishioner of Our Lady of Angels Church, where she became a Eucharistic minister.  Even after retirement, Elizabeth spent her mornings in church and in the afternoon she could be found helping other elderly people in whatever their care needs were.

Elizabeth was the matriarch of the family that she loved and cherished so dearly.  She loved being together with her family for the holidays and Sunday dinners filled with Irish music, laughing and dancing.  She always got a good laugh when some of her children/grandchildren would try to plan an outing, she called it "The Moran Family Outing", simply her way of saying we were confusing everyone, but she still loved us.

Elizabeth is predeceased by her father, mother, six sisters, and six brothers.  Elizabeth is a beloved mother to Kathy Denmark, Daniel Moran, and Marie Moran.  Proud grandmother to Erica Curtin and Ryan Denmark.  Cherished great-grandmother to Timothy Curtin Jr., Bridget Curtin, and Olivia Denmark.  She was an amazing mother-in-law to John Denmark and grandmother-in-law to Timothy Curtin.

Elizabeth will dearly missed by all her family, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, Elizabeth would like a donation in her honor to be made to:
