Elizabeth was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother (GG), she passed away peacefully on Monday, March 14th at the age of 81. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Mario and her parents Josephine and Charles Besser. Betty is survived by her son Stephen Biscotti (Michele), daughter Lisa D'Emic (Patrick) and son Michael Biscotti (Carolyn) and her eight grandchildren: Matthew (Krista), Michael (Stephanie), Brian, Jenna, Alex, Tristan, Brandon and Michael and two great grandchildren Kennedy and Joseph. Betty was born in Brooklyn, New York and lived in Red Hook and then moved to Bay Ridge. Betty spent her time raising her children and volunteering at Our Lady of Angels School.  Betty worked for many years at the Joy Shop children's clothing store and then moved on to work at the Naturalizer Shoe Store. Betty enjoyed her many years in the retail business and made many friends throughout the years. Betty thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Betty eventually relocated to Staten Island with her husband Mario and daughter Lisa and husband Pat, where she lived for more than twenty-two years.
