Eileen & Philip Potter passed away peacefully almost four months of each other. Eileen (80) & Philip (82) lifelong residents of Bay Ridge married in 1964 at St Michael's Church and began a beautiful life together for the next 56 years. They are forever in the hearts of their children Debra (John) and Michael (Maria) and their grandchildren John, Sarah and Michael. Predeceased by their son Philip (8/31/1981) they are now reunited in
heaven. Eileen is predeceased by her parents Thomas & Margaret Hennessy and brother Tom. Philip is predeceased by his parents Fran & David Potter and brothers Father Ron (M. M.) and David. Eileen is survived by her sister Margaret Chichester. Philip is survived by his sister Diane McDonough. Eileen & Phil together raised their three children, worked side by side for more than 21 years at Potters Food Service in Sunset Park in what today is known as Industry City. Upon retirement from the store Eileen went off to work at the Dept of Education for just shy of 20 years. Phil could be found at Dyker Golf Course and strolling along the avenue.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at NYU Langone Brooklyn, the Visiting Nurse Service and The Calvary Hospital for their professional and tireless care and compassion for Eileen & Phil.
